Seeking Full-Time LINE COOKS

The cooks at Halyards serve up dinners of fresh, local seafood, with sides of Georgia farms produce. Their amazing work is the heart of the Halyards dining experience, and we depend on excellent cooks to enact the inventive dishes of our chefs.

Expectations | Set up, clean, and organize work stations; prepare ingredients; cook according to food health and safety standards; recommend ideas for features and seasonal dishes; manage multiple food orders at one time; ensure each order has correct food and sides; store all food properly; clean and sanitize work stations and utensils; assist other cooks and team members as needed

Requirements | Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently; have physical endurance to stand for entire shift; be self-motivated and self-directed; work well as part of a team and on individual tasks; be able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders; have at least two years prior experience as a cook or have relevant work experience in similar environment; be flexible and available nights, weekends, and holidays; be able to lift up to fifty pounds or more; have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

TRAMICI
Seeking Full-Time LINE COOKS & SOUS CHEF

The cook is the heart of our kitchen! Our kitchen is hot, noisy, busy, and entertaining, but at Tramici we know it’s important to have fun. Our front-of-the-house staff and our back-of-the-house staff get along very well—which is very important to our chef. No fighting allowed.

Expectations | Night Crew—availability to work from 3:00 p.m. until close every day of the week, Day Crew—availability to work from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Requirements | Must have a decent understanding of basic cooking techniques and safe food handling procedures, be able to regularly carry fifty pounds, be willing to work weekends and holidays, be willing to work in hot and cold conditions, have nonslip shoes, provide own black chef coats, be able to communicate and work well with others
